Using Trigonometry for Measurement

Trigonometry allows you to measure heights or distances that are hard to reach directly. By measuring an angle and a baseline, you can use trig ratios to calculate unknown lengths.

How It Works

  • Stand a known distance from the object.
  • Measure the angle of elevation or depression.
  • Use sine, cosine, or tangent to find the unknown side.
