I am originally from Chicago and completed my bachelor degree at Michigan State University. I majored in Education and minored in ESL and English. I also have a specialization in urban education and have completed almost half of my masters degree through MSU. I love working with students and helping them achieve more then they thought they could. I love tutoring students in reading because I have a huge passion for it. I believe that every child can be a reader they have just not found the right book. I have traveled all around the world and love to bring those experiences in with my teaching so that the child can be shown other worlds and cultures. I can speak conversationally in Spanish to help with subject matter when needed. I push students to hit my high expectations and will make learning a fun but knowledgable experience.
