- I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Biology/Microbiology and a minor in Spanish.
- My tutoring experience began in college, where I tutored Student-Athletes in many different subjects.
About Me
I also student taught and provided tutoring sessions for a biology course. These positions taught me how gratifying and fun it is to interact with others in the learning process! After graduation, I spent a year traveling and volunteering internationally, immersing myself in a variety of cultures. Currently, I am a full-time AmeriCorps member, where I serve in a charter school tutoring 5th - 8th grade students in mathematics. I enjoy engaging with students in all subjects, from algebra to Spanish to writing. When I'm not involved in educational activities, I like to hike, teach my dog new tricks, play Scrabble, and practice yoga.
