I am passionate about providing the tools necessary to help each child realize their fullest potential. I studied theatre and earned a BA at the University of New Hampshire in 2008, and earned a dual masters in Childhood Education and Childhood Special Education from Fordham University in 2013. I am certified to teach Childhood Education and Special Education in New York and CT. I have taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade reading and math. I love tutoring math because I enjoy engaging students in real world math applications and providing a wide range of manipulatives to help them understand different concepts. I also strive to help students develop a love of reading by choosing material that suits their interests. Through clear goals I help students achieve their decoding and comprehension reading goals. I am also part of a Theatre Company that performs musicals for children!
