I have not tutored professionally but have years of experience in coaching kids from ages 4-18 in swimming technique, sportsmanship, and competition and loved every moment of it. I find education to be an incredibly important part of life and love seeing students progress and improve their knowledge. I look forward to the day where I begin explaining something and the student tells me that I am telling them yesterday's news. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, swimming, taking care of my plants, and spending time outdoors.

My hobbies include reading, exercising, hiking, and expanding my ever-growing plant collection. I'm passionate about all aspects of life science, but especially plant biology, environmental science, pathology, and microbiology. I love learning new and interesting facts whether it be about something entirely new to me, or a new fact about something I'm already familiar with.
