Since graduation, I have received my alternative teacher certification from ITeachTexas. I have been teaching special education to elementary students in all grade levels. Being a special education teacher has allowed me to better understand how individuals learn and to teach in a manner that allows success. My background with exceptional learners and my passion to educate has allowed me to have a better understanding of how to link the bridge between special education and general education through a collaborative process. I believe all students can learn! In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, yoga, running, and cooking in my Instant Pot.
