About Me
I have two years of experience working as a math instructor for students from ages 5 to 15, teaching concepts that ranged from simple shape recognition to complex algebra. In addition, I spent a semester volunteering as a virtual English and Phonics tutor for young elementary school kids in Chinatown, Chicago. Along with math and English, I immensely enjoy tutoring other subjects, such as biology, chemistry, and writing. I am passionate about tutoring students because I enjoy helping others develop confidence in their own academic abilities. In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of education is figuring out how to connect with each individual student and teach them in a way they can understand.
Hobbies & Interests
In my free time I enjoy working out, reading books, and spending time with my friends and family. I have also played volleyball for most of my life, and I enjoy playing the flute!
