I received my undergrad from the University of Alabama and my Masters in Social Work from Walden University. I have over 20 years of experience in social services which range from working in group home shelters to children and families. I have been a Girl Scout troop leader for over 10 years and that opportunity has allowed me to hone my skills in working with young girls and teaching them how to be innovative thinkers and world-changers. My view on being a successful student starts by ensuring that the student understands or knows their learning style. Once that is established, we can work on techniques to help master the material. I believe anyone can be great with the right tools.

My hobbies are volunteering as a Girl Scout troop leader and mom. I love to crochet and perform home improvement projects around the home.
