I served as the mathematics tutor for my undergraduate university's college of engineering where I worked with college students on achieving success in their courses. My teaching philosophy is that anyone can learn and achieve mastery in math, we just have to figure out what the best way to break down concepts is and simplify steps as much as possible. There are many, many ways to approach math problems, the trick is finding the one that makes to most sense to each individual. I hold a double bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Stony Brook University and am working on my PhD in Economics.

I am a big runner, reader, and traveler. I have run 3 half marathons so far and am working on making my way up to a full marathon. I also enjoy reading and will literally read anything anyone recommends. I also enjoy traveling when I can and want to visit all 50 states (20 states down!)
