I've been in education for over eight years with experience from elementary school to teaching ELA in high school at the general education and alternative school level. I currently work as a Success Coordinator for a Doctorate of Pharmacy Program. Now that I'm not in the classroom, tutoring provides me with the opportunity to work in smaller settings with students and focus on their educational goals. My purpose in education is to create engaging lessons so students can make meaningful connections to their lives and the world. I've always been the educator who provides her students with the tools to be open-minded to the world and to ask questions. My students' success in school and outside of school has always been my focus. I enjoy working with students on strengthening their reading comprehension skills, test taking strategies, and writing skills. I'm a dog mom to three great ups who I enjoy taking for walks with my family. I enjoy watching NBA basketball and football. I enjoy true crime and psychology podcasts. I have a love for true crime and mystery novels. I enjoy some classic literature, such as, The Great Gatsby. I enjoy Netflix days or going to the gym to relax.

I've rediscovered my passion for reading through true crime and mystery novels. I love spending time with my family, whether it's a day at home or on a vacation. I enjoy working out. I'm very passionate about photography. I love watching football and NBA basketball. Go Warriors!
