I am qualified to tutor many subjects, but I am most passionate about French and Music. I am a tutor in the French & Italian Department at Northwestern University where I have volunteered for 4 quarters of instruction. While I did not grow up speaking French myself, I have excelled in my French studies. I have had the opportunity to study French at the prestigious Middlebury French Immersion program and through a study abroad program in Arles, France! I am passionate about learning languages no matter what your age. I also have 12 years of experience playing percussion/ drums in marching and concert band settings. I have been a percussion high school for a high school drumline and the snare section leader for the Northwestern University Marching Band for 2 years. I taught a wide range of students aged from 5 years old to college-aged. I am a strong believer in access to quality education, specifically when it comes to the sciences and arts. In my spare time, I enjoy playing music drums in my bands, reading fantasy novels at the library, and running.

I am heavily involved in music organizations on my campus where I play the drums for ensembles like the marching band, concert band, jazz band, and video game medley group! Outside of playing and listening to music, I also enjoy reading and outside activities like running and playing basketball.
