I am honored to be considered to support your scholar in the primary areas of reading comprehension and writing. I have always been passionate about helping students master the components of reading literature, informational texts, and writing. To ensure I was successful, I earned a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in Educational Studies w/ a focus in Learning and Curriculum Design. My favorite subjects to teach include word recognition/phonics, argumentative/narrative/and expository writing, grammar, and reading comprehension of literary and informational texts. I work with all grade levels K-12. Outside of tutoring, I teach high school literature to 11th and 12th graders. I love traveling, spending time with family, friends, and pets, and reading great new literature
