I believe in fostering curiosity and understanding, guiding my students to grasp concepts through relatable examples and memory tricks. My approach emphasizes mentorship, ensuring that each student feels supported and empowered to achieve their goals. Having taught in a unique prison outreach program, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy volunteering with organizations that train service, assistance and therapy dogs, which enriches my perspective on both learning styles and approaches to teaching.

I enjoy learning new things and one way I do this is through getting together with a group of friends to play trivia once or twice a week. I also do some part-time, semi-professional work with dogs. In the past, some of my favorite experiences have included volunteering with organizations that train guide dogs and participating in animal-assisted therapy. These activities have enriched my perspective on both learning styles and approaches to teaching.
