I received my Bachelor in Elementary Education emphasis in Middle Grades Science and Master in Educational Leadership emphasis Principalship. I currently attend Grand Canyon State University studying for my PhD in General Psychology: Integrating technology, Learning and Psychology. I have taught for over a decade learning and growing alongside my students. I have experience with creating curriculum that is designed to the specific needs of the student in alignment to the state's standardized assessment. My decade of experience is all within Title I schools serving schools of families that have a high percentage of low-income needs to provide equity and overcome academic needs. My success as an educator comes from the child. Together, we will meet every work in unison to ensure that learning gaps become narrower by making learning exciting. I approach each day with an opportunity to learning from my mistakes and start anew while translating my understanding of Positive Psychology, practicing empathy, and nurturing the whole-child socially and emotionally.
