About Me

As a dedicated tutor currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in chemistry at Old Dominion University, I am passionate about helping students excel in subjects like AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and Calculus. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring complex concepts. My approach emphasizes understanding foundational principles and applying them to real-world scenarios, which fosters a deeper appreciation for the sciences. I am motivated by the rewarding moments when students grasp challenging material and gain confidence in their abilities. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, baking and exploring the latest developments in science, which I often incorporate into my teaching to keep lessons engaging and relevant.
