Certified Tutor

I would love to be your Science tutor and here's why: I have fostered a love for the sciences since I was a child. By 12 years old I knew that I would pursue a career as a scientist (or something like it). My love of science extends to a love of EXPLAINING science; a career as a teacher seemed only natural. I would be thrilled to help you in your journey through whichever science you are currently learning. And if you aren't so interested in the material I will try my best to make it fun for you. My goal as a tutor and educator is to teach big concept ideas: things that people will remember for years to come, not just tidbits to remember for the test!

I graduated from William Paterson University earning my BS in Biology in 2010. After four years of working in a medical laboratory I returned to school to get my teaching certification. As of May 2015, I am NJ state certified to teach Biology and Life Science to Middle and High School students.

In my free time I enjoy reading, video games, TV and movies. Just as I can teach you science, I can teach you about comic books, Star Wars, etc. I am a geek and proud of it! I'll be attending my 5th NY Comic Con in October 2015.
