Certified Tutor

I love teaching and watching my students learn!! My teaching experience includes many aspects of education. I have been employed as a teacher, a para-pro, a afterschool instructor, a tutor, and as a substitute teacher. I have experience teaching students in grades Kindergarten to grade 12. Most of my experience has been with the special needs population. I worked with the learning disabled, the Autistic student, and the physically, mentally and emotionally challenged student. I taught reading, writing, science, social studies, and basic math skills. I also taught test prep, and proctored exams for various standardized state exams. My tutoring experience is with Achieve Success Tutoring for the "NCLB," Title One program, and for the Sylvan Learning Center part time. I also tutored after school with the New York City Board of Education after school program and with Georgia State University / Atlanta Public Schools tutoring programs. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, playing with my pets, listening to music, swimming, water aerobics and traveling.
