Certified Tutor

I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Simulation and Game Programming.

I have tutoring experience working for my alma mater and being the president of an on-campus organization called Wildcat Games Studio which helped to guide, teach, and mentor new students in good programming practices like DRY and SOLID principles in the context of game development.

My favorite subjects to tutor are anything technology and computer science related. I strongly believe that an individual becomes better at a subject by teaching it to others and I love computer science, so it is a best-of-both-worlds combination.

My style of teaching is a relaxed one. I take my students through the topic being taught at a pace that makes sense for them. I tailor my teaching style based on the age and existing academic level of the student to better meet their learning needs. I believe this helps me to connect to the student on a deeper level which in turn allows me to better mold my way of teaching to fit their way of learning.

In my spare time, when I'm not actively working on my own personal game and software projects, I relax with a good RPG or solid season of anime.
