Certified Tutor

I graduated from Saint Louis University with a B.A. in English/Spanish. I hold a Master’s degree in Slavonic Studies from the University of Oxford, UK as well as a Master’s degree in Spanish from Saint Louis University. I am currently working toward a Ph.D. in Spanish and Comparative Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. I have taught several introductory Spanish courses at the university level. In addition, I have taught ESL courses to adults in Madrid, Spain. I have experience working with students of various age groups in large groups and individually. I tutor AP Spanish Literature and Culture, Spanish 1, 2, 3 and 4, ACT Reading and Writing, and AP English Literature and Composition. I am most passionate about Spanish and English Literature. As a teacher, I understand that students learn in distinct ways. I use a variety of materials and cater my lesson plans toward the individual needs of every student. My passion is traveling, learning languages, and exploring different cultural traditions. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and going to yoga!
