Certified Tutor

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Michigan where I got a B.S. in English Language and Literature. I'm currently applying to medical school while spending a gap year in NYC where I'm doing public health research in HIV prevention. I have an extensive background in tutoring both science and humanities but am especially passionate about tutoring essay-writing and Test Prep involving verbal reasoning. I also love helping with admissions essays whether for college, medical school, or anything else. I've tutored many types of students in the past, so I can work with any type of student, but I'm an especially good fit for science students trying to improve writing/verbal skills or pre-med students. I love to approach tutoring with a sense of humor. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano and guitar, and seeing concerts in the city!
