Certified Tutor

BA in Biology at Drew University. I have taught as a classroom biology and environmental science teacher, as well as an outdoor experiential educator with Nature's Classroom. I tutor math and science up to the high school level, and for the ACT and SAT.

My core educational philosophy is based in constructivism--that all knowledge is built off of pre-existing knowledge. I strive to understand students' background and existing knowledge to better modify my lessons for each individual student.

In addition to my love of science and education, I also enjoy writing and listening to music and developing and playing tabletop games.
