Time Management for Test Success

Mastering the Clock on Exam Day

Good time management helps ELLs finish tests without rushing. Start by skimming the test to see how many questions there are and how much time you have. Prioritize easier questions first, then return to tougher ones.

Tips

  • Wear a watch or use the classroom clock.
