I am an incoming medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I graduated from Rice University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Medical Humanities and Business.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I am also a graduate of the high school International Baccalaureate Program. I have informal experience tutoring high school physics, but am most passionate about tutoring students for the ACT standardized test, having had extensive experience preparing for standardized tests throughout high school. I am eager to aid students in boosting their scores before their upcoming college applications, an important milestone in many students' lives. In my free time, I also enjoy playing tennis.
I'm a 2nd year medical student at the University of Miami. I have extensive experience tutoring in all science subjects (orgo, biology, genetics, physics), math and reading. I have been an SAT and ACT tutoring for over 6 years now at the local Boys and Girls Club. I also have extensive experience tutoring for the MCAT, from best practices to more technical skills as well. I enjoy tutoring and realize everyone learns in a unique way. I try to cater my style to my student and help them reach the full extent of their capabilities.
No subject, no test, and no question is bigger than you. By the end of our time together, I hope to make you see that my only job was really just to make you see--you really had it in you, all along. If there's any subject in which you truly believe you suck--that you're just the worst, and that nothing will ever help you improve--then don't you dare give up until you've given me a call! I'm a writer, but I love numbers, and nothing makes me more proud than helping students overcome their biggest challenges. I've scored near-perfect on both standardized tests, and I've been helping students understand how to improve their own scores ever since. I'm also capable of tutoring advanced Music Theory topics, as well as Spanish and Mandarin Chinese
I am currently a student at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Biotechnology and in the Burnett Medical Scholars Program.
I am a 22-year-old medical student. In college, I triple majored in Theoretical Mathematics, Computer Science, and Chemistry. My tutoring experience includes over a dozen classes where I was a TA or grader, many of which involved me teaching classes independently. I am looking forward to tutoring hardworking and motivated students who want to challenge themselves.
I am a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I tutor many STEM subjects, SAT/ACT prep, and AP/IB classes! In the years past, I've mentored two robotics teams and I have experience tutoring at my school and in my neighborhood. I deeply believe that an intuitive understanding of educational content is crucial to success, and I implement this philosophy by teaching problem-solving techniques and strategies in addition to the material. In my free time, I love to read, paint, crochet, and watch TV shows. :)
I am currently a Harvard student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. I graduated Class Valedictorian in high school and was named National Merit Finalist. I took 16 AP classes in high school, including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C : Mechanics and AP Physics 1, with a score of 5 in all of the tests. I scored a 1570/1600 in my SAT and 800 in the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test and 790 in the SAT Physics Subject Test.
I am a rising sophomore at Columbia University studying philosophy. I specialize in tutoring high school math, English, and the SAT. This past year I tutored English and math at an elementary/middle school near Columbia. In my free time, I enjoy listening to and playing jazz in a band at Columbia as well as exploring NYC.
I am no longer by their side. I seldom have students rely on "tricks"; instead, students will learn the underlying reasoning so that they can extend their solving methods to new related problem types. I look forward to applying my years of tutoring and teaching experience to help many motivated students.
I am a graduate of the public history program at the University of South Carolina, where I received an M.A. I am pursuing a career in historic preservation, because buildings and structures crucial to maintaining the culture of local and national society are constantly threatened. Throughout my graduate and undergraduate education, I worked in a teaching capacity, teaching sections of United States and Latin American History courses. With high scores being so crucial to student acceptance to top college programs, I am passionate about sharing the tips and strategies that helped me succeed on standardized tests. I especially enjoy teaching the Math sections of exams, because the subject boils down to learning and memorizing strategies that can be broadly applied. My strategy for standardized test preparation comes down to preparing the student not only for the material itself, but also for the experience of taking the tests. Success on standardized tests is as much an emotional exercise as an intellectual one. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, card and board games, and watching NBA basketball.
I'm an undergraduate at Princeton University working toward a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with the Sustainable Energy Certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Score improvement depends on your starting point and how consistently you apply strategies learned. Many students see gains of 5-10 points or more, though results vary based on your baseline, the areas you focus on, and how much you practice between sessions. A tutor helps you identify which sections need the most work and teaches you targeted strategies to tackle your specific weaknesses, whether that's logical reasoning, reading comprehension, or analytical reasoning (logic games).
Your first session focuses on understanding where you stand and what you need to work on. Expect to discuss your target law schools, timeline, and any previous practice test scores. The tutor will likely assess your strengths and weaknesses across the three main sections, then create a personalized study plan tailored to your goals and learning style.
Logic games (analytical reasoning) require a specific skill set that doesn't come naturally to most test-takers—they demand diagramming, pattern recognition, and quick decision-making under pressure. A tutor teaches you proven diagramming techniques, helps you recognize game types, and builds your speed through targeted practice, transforming what feels impossible into a manageable section.
Pacing is one of the biggest challenges on the LSAT because you have about 8.75 minutes per logical reasoning question and roughly 9 minutes per reading comprehension passage. A tutor teaches you which questions to tackle first, when to skip and return, and how to build speed without sacrificing accuracy through strategic practice and timed drills that simulate test conditions.
Reading comprehension on the LSAT isn't about reading faster—it's about reading strategically and understanding the author's main point, tone, and structure. Tutors teach you how to annotate effectively, identify question types before diving into answer choices, and avoid common traps that test-makers set. Consistent practice with real LSAT passages helps you internalize these strategies.
Most test-prep experts recommend taking 15-20+ full practice tests under timed conditions before test day. This builds stamina, helps you identify patterns in your mistakes, and reduces test anxiety through familiarity. Your tutor can help you schedule these strategically throughout your study plan, review your results to spot trends, and adjust your strategy based on what you learn from each test.
Most students benefit from 2-3 months of consistent study, though your timeline depends on your starting score and target school. Some students need 4-6 months, while others are ready in 6-8 weeks. A tutor helps you create a realistic schedule based on your baseline, shows you how to use your study time efficiently, and adjusts your plan as you progress through practice tests.
Test anxiety often stems from unfamiliarity with the format and uncertainty about your abilities. Taking full-length practice tests regularly builds confidence and reduces anxiety because you know exactly what to expect. A tutor also teaches you mental strategies like staying focused on one question at a time, managing your energy across the full test, and reframing mistakes as learning opportunities rather than failures.
