I enjoy tutoring students and helping them to clarify any confusion they have. A tutor should not only be there to help students faced with a difficult problem or concept, but a good tutor should encourage and motivate students to overcome obstacles and help students stay on track. When tutoring students, I always try to teach not just the answer but the method to get the answer. I believe that the method of obtaining the answer is more important than the answer itself. Growing up, I was tutored through middle school in Math and English. I know the importance of having a strong tutor. I have experience as a teacher as part of the ADVENT organization where I spent three summers on mission trips to Taiwan teaching local students. I enjoy playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and eating different foods.
