After graduating from DePaul University with my Bachelor's degree in English Literature, I then went on to receive my Master's degree in Secondary Education from Saint Joseph's University. I became a high school English teacher in Newark, NJ following an excellent experience coordinating an after-school tutoring program in Cincinnati, OH. As a tutor, a teacher, and a mother, I am committed to the world of education. I firmly believe that students learn best when engaging in material that is meaningful to them. I help my students to find relevancy in what they're learning, and I always tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs of the student. Outside of education, I enjoy practicing meditation, cooking, and expressing myself through bonsai and wood burning art.
