Since graduating, I have worked with children in a variety of grade levels. I have taught fifth grade math and third grade. I currently teach first grade. I love teaching all subjects but teaching reading is my favorite. I love seeing students learn to truly enjoy reading and making it fun rather than a struggle. Through my variety of experiences, I have learned that through engaging and differentiated lessons, every student is able to make progress and most importantly- become inquisitive, lifelong earners. In my free time, I love to read, hike, play tennis, and spend time with friends and family.
