I began my college career at Valparaiso University where I played football for a year prior to transferring to Tennessee State. . During my time at TSU, I served as a mentor and tutor to freshman who majored in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). In addition, I spent time at the STEM Prep Academy where I tutored grade school children. As an active participant on campus, I served as president of the American Society of Civil Engineers and assistant secretary of my fraternity on campus. I have a passion to see young individuals succeed in the classroom, and like to assist with that process when I am able to.
