I have been a tutor for over three years and have worked with students ages 5-15. Patience, communication, and fun activities have helped my students and me pinpoint where they are struggling and improve their understanding of difficult math, reading, and science topics. I have been a student a majority of my life and can relate to the struggle of trying to grasp complicated material and asking for help only to receive answers that seemed to raise more questions than answers. I share with students my tips on organization, different study methods, and stress management that can be applied outside of the tutoring sessions and help them tackle hard topics.
