About Me
I am sophomore at Amherst College, working towards obtaining an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, with a potential double major in either Psychology or Black Studies. I have done some one-on-one math tutor, as well as often helping my peers with their math homework in various levels of math. I tutor many math subjects, including elementary math, pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, pre-Calculus and Calculus 1. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I like to tutor math because I think anyone is capable of doing math if they are taught in a method they can understand. I like to work with students to find an approach to math problems that they comprehend. I will try multiple approaches to the same problem until I find one that works for each specific student. Outside of tutoring and school, I love to meet new people and try new things. I enjoy watching football, painting and crafting, reading, and baking.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy baking and painting. I also love animals, especially cats. I love to travel and have visited 36 of the 50 states.
