I believe that every child, despite their learning style, is capable of great success. I strive to teach academic responsibility and dedicate time to developing strong social skills. My students and I work as a TEAM to reach our goals. We look out for each other and always show respect. I truly feel that, in order for effective and meaningful learning to take place, there must first be an established sense of comfort and climate of trust between the teacher and the student. Together, we will work to commit ourselves to excellence and accomplish our goals. I am always working to improve myself as an educator, and my students are my best teachers. I hope they learn as much from me as I do from them!

My favorite things to do in my free time include writing, reading, watching documentaries, spending time with my family (I have 8 siblings!), baking, and listening to/playing music. I also love to watch sports, especially football and baseball.
