I love math. I am a middle school math teacher today because of her inspiration. Being a teacher makes me further realize that it is very difficult to give individual attention to students in large classes. I would love to help you in your math subject whether your goal is to pass the class or if you want to challenge yourself. I have a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education from St. John's University and a master's degree in Special Education from the College of Staten Island. I have since taken several other classes to extend my license to teach middle school mathematics. I have been a math tutor since 2009 working with students of all ages from pre-K to college level. My favorite subjects to tutor include high school level math because it brings with it various challenges and applications. I also enjoy tutoring with younger students because I get to use manipulatives and pictures to help students understand the math. I believe students learn best when I meet them at their level and determine their learning style. Everyone learns in different ways and my first goal would be to find out your learning style.

I like to crochet, knit, run and read. I especially enjoy reading classic novels and mysteries.
