My favorite part about being a tutor is helping my students and the sense of accomplishment they experience when they understand a concept. My style of tutoring uses everyday examples when possible and also drawing diagrams. I really want students to understand the underlying concepts of a problem. Because once a student understands the concepts, in the famous words of George W. Bush, "Fool me can't get fooled again."
