I have been a teacher for 17 years. I taught at a high school for 5 years. I decided to leave my job after I had my daughter. When she was almost a year old, I began teaching as an adjunct at a local community college here in Connecticut. I taught there for five years and once she started kindergarten, I decided it was time for me to take on more classes. I have been teaching online for five years and I absolutely love it. It gives me an opportunity to spend more time with my husband and daughter. I am currently teaching classes for Kaplan University, Argosy University and onsite at Post University. I have received a B.A. degree in English as well as M.A. and M.S. degrees in English and Education, respectively. My M.A. degree was completed entirely online. In my spare time (when I have any), I like to read and go biking with my family. I also took Taekwondo. I received my first degree black belt three years. I live in Naugatuck, Connecticut with my husband and daughter, Michaela (13). I have been married for 18 years and my husband is an elementary school music teacher. We have three cats who keep us hopping. I am excited to work with you! Michele
