About Me
I am a rising junior at Washington and Lee University working towards a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Poverty and Human Capabilities Studies. The takeaway I hope most to gain from it all is the ability to uncover what literature has to say about how we can help people overcome personal, as well as societal, obstacles. As a result, I have helped many a friend craft and edit papers for college admissions. Even so, I possess a solid background in mathematics as well. Three years of calculus not only solidified my abilities in integration and derivation, but likewise ensured my constant use of concepts found in algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I often peer tutored students in my high school mathematics courses, sometimes receiving calls late in the night to provide someone with assistance. Still, no matter what the topic, I stay true to my goal to instill in my students the confidence to tackle any problem they may encounter. When I am not contemplating the next novel to add to my boundless list of must-reads, I might be found listening to classical music, practicing martial arts, or appreciating an unfamiliar film with my family.
