I have tutored a variety of subjects, but my favorite subject to tutor is math because of how much I enjoy it. I think that a tutor's enjoyment for a subject can directly impact how the student feels about it. If I can help a student become less frustrated with a subjects concepts, learn how to stay organized and keep up with their work, I know I have done my job well. I personally love to learn and even after having graduated, I am constantly looking for opportunities to learn new things. Additionally, in my spare time I enjoy reading, board games, and rock climbing. I am excited to work as a tutor once again in order to give students a chance to learn one-on-one to get a deeper and more clear understanding of their study material. By having the ability to clear up confusion with material every week via a tutor, the student will find it easier in the future to build on these concepts and to keep up with work as it gets more challenging.
