At Agnes Scott I took education courses in addition to my psychology and core courses. My education courses were taken in conjunction with tutoring assignments at local schools. My tutoring experience helped me develop a passion for education; it is exciting to see students learn and grow academically. I believe that all students are capable of learning. I want my students to feel free to ask questions about the material being studied, but also to be challenged by the assignments. My favorite subjects to tutor are math, English, and reading. Since these are my areas of certification, I feel most comfortable teaching these subjects.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy swimming, hiking, traveling and cooking ethnic dishes.
