Rather than passively learn, I want students to actively participate. To foster deep learning, I organize a lesson plan that stresses the application of critical thinking skills. I use collaborative learning skills to facilitate real world problem solving. On a collegiate level, I have taught various subjects including Intro to Business, Intro to Communications, Business Communications, Intro to Marketing, Workplace Ethics, Customer Service, Microsoft Word, and Business Projects. As a tutor my areas of expertise are business subjects, English, and writing. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. However, I have an MBA in Marketing from Saint Leo University and B.S. in Marketing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Outside of academia, I enjoy baking, reading self-help books, watching horror movies with my family, skating, bowling, walking in the rain, and doing Pilates and yoga.
