About Me

With nearly two decades of experience in education, I've taught in bilingual Spanish elementaryclassrooms, ESL programs for children and adults in Ecuador, after school Spanish language programs, and piano and general music instruction to all ages in group and individual classes. My student-centric teaching philosophy is rooted in building confidence, comfortable self-expression, good social skills and having fun! The students I work with achieve exceptional results by learning how to set high standards for themselves, recognize each victory as they go, and become their own advocates for success. The joy of seeing that light bulb go off during moments that seem so brief but are really important milestones in a child's learning journey and their gleaming smile when they can FEEL the progress they are making these are the things I have enjoyed most about working with children.
