I taught 8th grade math for three years. I tutored students ranging from kindergarten to adult in math, reading, study skills, and test prep at a National learning center for seven years. I have been tutoring independently for three years. My current subjects include elementary and middle school math, pre-Algebra, Algebra Algebra 2, Geometry, study skills and ACT test prep. I want students to succeed and understand math. I relate new topics to what a student understands and build off of that. I am patient and I can usually find another way to explain something if a student is struggling with a concept. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our six children.
