I have had the opportunity to work at Kumon Learning Center as the Lead Assistant. During this time, I tutored all levels of math but specifically focused on advanced math i.e. Calculus. Additionally, I have served as a private tutor in the past as well. I tutor a broad range of subjects, however, I am most passionate about math and science. Being a student in STEM and a STEM mentor I am hope to motivate and inspire students to show that these subjects are nothing to be afraid of and are something they are capable of doing. My teaching philosophy stresses fundamentals to build on a solid base and be able to apply your knowledge and skills and develop critical thinking skills. In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching sports such as Basketball and Football as well reading and listening to music.
