I have not found a grade in my years of teaching that is my favorite, as each has its own unique qualities. Being a part of helping someone in their educational journey is exciting. I have taught for 30 years as a general education teacher and special education teacher/coordinator. I have experience with all grades elementary through high school. I have taught a variety of subjects. I ELA/Math and writing are my specialties. I work with students who struggle academically in hopes of building their confidence and grades simultaneously. Lastly, executive functioning is a skill set that I have been able to support students in which impacts their ability to function at their highest potential.
