Brittney Johnson is the CEO of Fervent Financial LLC whose passion is to teach, coach, and empower everyday people and children on personal finances to include: budgeting, how to save, how to get out of debt, and the importance of an emergency fund. Brittney believes that many people are ignorant to basic money management skills and therefore struggle and keep going around the hamster wheel making the same financial mistakes. Before the Lord called Brittney to start Fervent Financial she worked for the intelligence community as well as KPMG, where she budgeted million dollar programs, audited various government agencies, and led several process improvement initiatives. Since a child Brittney has had the teachers mantle roaring on the inside of her. She would teach her younger cousins to read, write, and tutor them in math. Brittney began budgeting as a child when her parents made her write and plan out how she would spend her allowance money. In her youth, Brittney was a Student Ambassador traveling the world promoting peace and using her leadership skills to make a difference in the world. As Brittney grew she started helping her family and friends understand money. Brittney is a Certified Financial Education Instructor, Personal Finance Coach, Ramseys Solutions Master Financial Coach, Bookkeeper for small businesses, mentor of young women in her community, and the Director of Finance and Administration at Rain Fire Ministries International. Brittney holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University and a Masters in Accountancy from Gardner Webb University. Brittney is currently pursuing her certification to become a Financial Planner, to further her knowledge and skills as a finance professional. When she's not working she loves to write various stories by painting the world and experiences through her eyes. Whether it is about love, friendship, faith, or random thoughts; she inspires all who read her writing. While traveling the world, Brittney was able to touch so many lives by lending a helping hand and opening her heart to others. With her bubbly personality, she is able to win so many hearts through mentoring and volunteering. By pursuing her purpose and investing in her passion, she hopes her experiences help others navigate this thing called life.
