I am about to complete a M.A. in Physics at UC Berkeley, after receiving my B.S. from MIT with a double major in literature and particle physics. I'm a veteran of the AP system and of the SAT, and a more recent veteran of the GRE, so I know what's tough about these tests and how to conquer them. My tutoring philosophy is centered around teaching the core concepts of a subject, so students have a good sense of where strategies come from and how to apply them. Ultimately I think most math, science and humanities is extremely interesting if you can build confidence and fundamental understanding, and I hope to share my enthusiasm with my students!

I like yoga, backpacking, and any activity where I can bring my dog.
