I believe it is my responsibility as an educator to advocate for best practice, developmentally responsive curriculum, and challenging equitable learning environments for young adolescents. In order for the profession of "Teaching" to continue to make an impact on young adolescents there must be continued growth in educators and practice of professional development. I enjoy the fact that I can share information with others and create opportunities for growth in knowledge. We all benefit from learning from one another and I believe we reap those benefits every day until the day we leave this earth. Whenever we grow it's an advancement for humanity. The students I serve must receive the best I can provide. This means I must continue to learn so that I can evolve and continue to share.
