About Me
I completed my Master's of Education in Special Education at Grand Canyon University on December 2021. The Master's degree in helping students with mild to moderate disabilities. My philosophy is each child has a unique way to learn. Some children are auditory learners, some are visual learners, and others are a combination of both. It is easy to learn in an environment that makes children curious and not afraid to take chances. Children need to use their mental abilities and social skills, take what they learned, and apply it to life learning. A teacher is to guide and help them but not enabling the child by being overly helpful. Children learn best through hands-on activities and exploring their world. I have two quotes that I believe. The first one is, "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has to own reasoning for existing" By Albert Einstein. The second quote is "Mistakes are proof you are learning" Jennifer Lim.
Hobbies & Interests
I love playing my flute and the piano. In my front yard, I am growing two different styles of blueberries and two different colors of peonies. I bought the peonies for the the deer to eat. They'd rather eat our neighbor red-scented roses. Oops. I tried. Actually, having the peonies in-between the blueberries keeps the bees busy and I get more blueberries to eat. Yum!
