- I am passionate about helping students succeed and excel in their studies.
About Me
While getting my undergrad in English from the University of Texas at Arlington I was a writing tutor for college students, many of whom were foreign students still new to the language. I loved helping all of my students succeed in their classes, become better writers, and helping improve their confidence. My philosophy for tutoring is that I believe my sessions should be client led; that is, the client calls the shots and I am an impartial reviewer. I will ask what the student wants to focus on in the session and we will collaborate on mutually agreeable changes to the document. I won't overstep my place as a tutor- this is their essay, sometimes personal in nature, and I will be fair and nice!
Hobbies & Interests
I love running, music, and true crime podcasts. Before quarantining I used to be active in kick boxing. I like Hayao Miyazaki, Tarantino, and Akira Kurasawa movies. Otherwise, I'm usually studying.
