I also work as an essay examiner for the International Baccalaureate program. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Education, a master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Rhetoric at the University of Texas at Austin. I also teach first- year composition at UT-Austin. I enjoy working with students on an individual basis as we engage in the labor and joy of writing together. I especially enjoy working with students on college application essays, whether personal essays or applicationstatements, and I am also experienced with on-demand writing tasks that appear on tests like the SAT or the AP Exams. With seven years of classroom experience and three years of experience working as a grader for the International Baccalaureate program, my unique blend of both teaching and professional writing experience allows me to effectively help students reach their full potential.
