I received a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I am also certified by the ANCC as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse, precepting/teaching has always been a passion. I enjoy helping people solve problems. During my 17-year nursing career, I have precepted and educated New nurse graduates and new staff and prepared them for real-world nursing. I currently educate patients with Cardiovascular conditions on how to manage their care at home. I also have experience in Med/Surg, orthopedics, neurology, and trauma. I enjoy teaching anything related to nursing. My ANCC certification is recent so I understand what it takes to prepare and how to think when it comes to testing for NCLEX, ANCC, and AANP certifications. Outside of nursing I enjoy kickboxing and watching my children participate in their activities.

Hobbies I enjoy are kickboxing, crafting, baking, and watching my kids participate in whatever they are up to.
