About Me

I have always had a passion for helping people gain new skills. I believe that the more capable we all are as individuals, the more capable we become as a community. I have taught a wide variety of topics to an even wider variety of students. I have taught renewable energy concepts to adults attending Franklin College in El Paso Texas. Many of my students went on to find gainful employment. When I was attending the University of Texas at El Paso, I worked with Academic Technologies as a Curriculum Developer and Camp Counselor for their STEAM oriented Tech-E camps. After graduating from school, I worked with Varsity tutors, teaching students of all ages in one-on-one tutoring or instructing classes ranging in sizes from a few to hundreds of students. This included many subjects, but I tended to focus on computer science. I am currently working as a long-term substitute teaching a fifth grade class in Santa Fe, NM.
