As a Science Education major at UNC and a Museum Studies: Science Education Master's student at Harvard University, I have learned science and math at a high standard, but, more importantly, have been taught how to frame my knowledge in fun and easy to understand ways. After working as a subcontractor to NASA, I pursued further studies in science education while teaching middle school math. I have worked in the field of education for a decade and have tutored students from four years old to over eighty. Everyone has different ways of learning and I strive to cater to that. I have tutored, taught at the high school and college level, and worked as an educator at a planetarium and an aquarium. I am extremely dedicated to my students as I always want them to succeed as well as have fun with their education. I am excited to start learning together!
